New Coach?

So what happens when you have already signed up to be a BeachBody coach but the coach assigned to you doesn't share the same goals and wants as you or just don't 'click' with that coach.  Well this happens more often then you would think.  The thing thou is that you don't need to suck it up and say 'oh well'.  This is your heath, your life, and your goals.  If you want to switch it up and have a coach that understands you and genuinely cares about your goals then here's your chance. There is a way!

HOW TO SWITCH COACHES:
If you were assigned a coach from BeachBody and you have not started a relationship with that coach or your assigned coach is unable to help you reach your goals then BeachBody will allow you to switch coaches.
This is a very common thing and is a very simple process. To make sure you transfer to Ashley Perez successfully, follow the exact steps we have provided below:
Step One: 
Using the same email you used to create your free Team BeachBody customer account, send an email to coachrelations@teambeachbody.com
Use the email message we composed for you to copy and paste below  (in step three).
Step Two:
 Before you send the email, please CC aperez011307@gmail.com in the email address so I receive a copy. Once we see that email request, I will follow up with coach relations for you.
Step Three: Copy/Paste the following information in the email you send to Coach Relations.  Replace the appropriate missing fields. 
To Switch Coaches to Ashley:
My name is  _insert your name here_ , my Team BeachBody email is _insert your email here_.  I would like to transfer my coach to have Ashley Perez, Coach ID# 283368, screen name ashleyperez83 at aperez011307@gmail.com as my NEW coach.  Please make the switch effective for all recent Team BeachBody transactions. Thank you!

Once I receive a copy of this email I will follow up with Team BeachBody to confirm the switch has been made.  I will contact you when we have that confirmation.
And there you have it.  Three simple steps to switching coaches thru BeachBody.  I look forward to helping you reach your goals, supporting you on this lifelong journey and just to be a friend.

What's In A Workout?

You get what you put in and honestly if you know exactly what you are burning you seem to work just a tad bit harder.  For me I am extremely competitive not only with others but also myself.  These numbers help me see if I am burning AT LEAST what I burned before with the same workout.  Of course if you do different things you will get different results depending on the workout so this just goes to show you what you can get done weather it be 20mins of your day or if you have a whole hour to dedicate.

Here We Go!

Well I finally did it.  I took my passion for fitness and health and decided to do something with it.  I have always been into fitness weather it be sports in High School, gym, running, yoga or home workouts I have always found a way to stay active.  Before moving overseas with my husband and son if I wasn't at the mall you could find me at the gym.  My go to class at 24hr fitness became Turbo Kick Boxing (TKB).  It originated in Orange Country and the following was huge...there was no way around it.  The energy was amazing and the people were just as wonderful.  Then came orders to Okinawa via the US Marine Corps.  I took for granted the gyms back stateside and all that was offered. Sure the base here has a gym that's well equipped with weights and a decent cardio room.  However, child care is non existent and the classes didn't live up to those taught in the states.  I started missing 24hr fitness very quickly.  About a year after living on island the little company, BeachBody (maybe you have heard of it) starting picking up it's pace here in Okinawa.  I quickly learned about Turbo Fire. I snagged up the videos and fell in love! It was like I was back home at 24hr fitness again.  It was high pace, most of the same people in the videos I actually worked out with, and the same concept as TKB.  I kind of fell in love with home workouts at that point.  Don't get me wrong I would hit up the gym every chance I got because lifting is still one of my favorites.  But if I couldn't make it to the gym I wasn't so upset over it.  While my husband was on his 3rd deployment I tapped into other programs that  BeachBody had to offer such as InsanityChaLEAN Extreme, and Focus T25.  I loved them all but I would always find myself going back to Turbo. As Chalene Johnson would say, it's my soulmate workout.  Along with all of those programs I also ended up falling in love with yoga.  My mom always would try and get me to try it but what can I say...I am a cardio girl.  I need to be moving! But I finally tried it and from going to not being able to touch my toes to now being able to fully fold forward it feels amazing! Plus the strength gained is crazy.  And much to my surprise yoga has helped me in my cardio and has made doing Turbo so much easier.
As I said in the beginning I finally took my passion for all that is fitness and did it, signed up to be a BeachBody Coach.  I found a leader that inspired me and shared my same drive with fitness, Krystal Bland.  And I am proud and honor to be not only apart of her Crushin' It Crew but to be apart of her apprentice crew.  I am excited to see where this new journey will take me and I hope that by having this blog it will not only help me stay accountable for my own health and fitness but can inspire someone else to get up and move.
